    Consolato del Mare OÜ is boutique law firm specialized on shipping and maritime law. Consolato del Mare is advising its clients in wide range of legal question related to shipping and sea starting with shipbuilding, ship finance, SPA and ending with ship arrest, salvage and marine pollution cases. We are providing our services for shipping companies regarding risk management and dispute resolution. We have advised shipowners, banks, shipyards, ship management companies, agents, brokers, shippers etc. on legal issues related to shipping, maritime businesses and ship finance. We provide services regarding formation of a company in Estonia and advise on guestions of company law. We have approximately 50% clientelle from Estonia and other half from abroad. Our most international clients are from Scandinavia and Russia.


    Consolato del Mare OÜ is associated member of Estonian Shipowners Association (ESA). We advise ESA in all legal questions, draft laws of Estonia and international conventions.

    Ship registrations, flag changes, ships sale and purchase contracts (S&P)

    Consolato del Mare can advise regarding ships registration in Estonian shipping register. Ships owned by companies established in European Union member states can register their ships in Estonia to fly Estonian flag. Ships can be registered in Estonia on bareboat charter basis and to fly Estonian flag. Estonia accepts bareboat charter registration in and out.
